Welcome to Our Church Family!
We are a vibrant, multicultural community of believers who love Jesus, treasure the Bible, and are committed to sharing hope and wholeness with our world. Our members come from many different nationalities and backgrounds, united by our faith in Christ and a shared commitment to following Him.
As part of the global Seventh-day Adventist Church, we honor the Sabbath, believe in the soon return of Jesus, and seek to live lives of service, compassion, and purpose. Our church is a place where you’ll find a warm welcome, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to serve others in love through our many ministries.

Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father’s will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.

About Pastor Piresson:
Pastor Joseph Piresson was born in Brazil, and became a Seventh-day Adventist at the age of 14 and by the age of 21 he had already been a Pathfinder, Pathfinder counselor, Youth, Sabbath School, and Evangelism director. In order to pay for his schooling from academy through college he did literature evangelism. God blessed his work and he became a successful literature evangelist. So at the age of 24 he was invited by the Columbia Union Conference in the US to do literature evangelism in New Bedford, MA. It was on his first day in the US that he met Fatima, now his wife of 28 years. Pastor Piresson started his ministry as a full-time church pastor in June of 1998. He is a graduate from Atlantic Union College with a double major in Theology and Spanish, and a Minor in Education. He also earned an M.Div. degree from Andrews University. In 2010 and 2011 he took graduate classes in Archaeology at Southern Adventist University and at the Hebrew University In
Jerusalem. And he was also able to participate as a member of the Archaeological team doing excavations during the seasons of 2010 and 2011 in Khirbet Qeiyafa, a fortified settlement resting atop a hill overlooking the Elah Valley of the Judean Shephelah in south-central Israel. His wife, Fatima, has been an educator for over 35 years, and in the last 3 years a high school vice-principal. She is also a graduate of Atlantic Union College. They have been blessed with two wonderful children, Ambrosee who is a 27 year old Music Major graduate from at the University of Connecticut, and Joseph II, a 20 year old Piano Performance Major, also at the University of Connecticut. He sincerely believes we are living in the last days of earth’s history and it is his earnest desire to always be an instrument used by God in the preaching of the Gospel. He believes God has a special message, the Three Angels Message, and a special people, the Seventh-day Adventists, to reach a perishing world, His wayward children. Besides being a district pastor, Pr. Piresson is the Southern New England Conference Prayer Ministry Coordinator. He has been the pastor of the Connecticut Valley and Rockville-Tolland church district since October 2021.
